Born prematurely at just 24 weeks, Henry spent more than 100 days in neonatal intensive care. His family faced countless moments of uncertainty as doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to save his life. When Henry was later diagnosed with a movement disorder, his parents feared what his future might hold.
At just 18 months old, Henry began his rehabilitation journey at the Movement Centre. Through Conductive Education movement therapy, he began reaching milestones his parents feared he might never achieve — taking his first steps, playing with toys, feeding himself a snack. Hope replaced fear as Henry’s family witnessed the impossible become possible.
Today, Henry is an energetic kindergartener, continuing to make remarkable progress toward greater mobility and confidence supported by the Movement Centre’s dedicated team and community.
